Pay rate: $24/hour
Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Supply Chain and Operations Data Analyst with a focus on supply chain and operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing and modeling large and complex datasets, developing predictive models, and optimizing supply chain processes. The candidate should also have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and in a team, and have a strong passion for solving complex problems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Work with business partners to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights and solutions.
Work across various global time zones.
Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to improve data quality, accuracy, and reliability.
Will assist with implementation of improved ERP/MRP systems.
Communicate with other departments within the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop solutions, and implement changes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement in the supply chain, and develop data-driven solutions to optimize processes and drive efficiency.
Develop and implement predictive models and algorithms to forecast demand, inventory levels, and transportation requirements.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be leveraged to improve supply chain performance.
Create data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business management, data analytics or related fields. Supply chain management certification is preferred
Five or more years’ experience in data science, supply chain analytics or related field
Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a graduate-level degree in a field relevant to the internship
Must be able to work full-time during the duration of the internship program
Experience analyzing business improvement
Excellent mathematical and analytical skill
Project management
Must have strong MS Excel, MS Access, MS tool skills
Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data
Interpersonal skills and ability to build and improve trusting relationships
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to troubleshoot issues of high complexity
Ability to build key cross-functional relationship as a key data analyst support partner.
