Nuclear Fuel Services Intern -- Medical & Wellness in Erwin, Tennessee

We are currently seeking an Intern -- Medical & Wellness for our Erwin, TN location!

Nuclear Fuel Services (NFS), a division of BWX Technologies, Inc., is seeking an Intern for our Medical & Wellness Department.

Job Duties:

Assist with first aid services for NFS personnel including the medical response training for NFS Emergency First Responders.

Assist Medical Specialists with physical exams and spirometer testing.

Perform Fitness for Duty Program functions including maintaining Collection Site Person qualifications, scheduling, and performing FFD testing, record keeping and follow-up with the FFDC and MRO.

Assist Emergency Services Specialist with the required Respirator Fit Testing Program by maintaining qualification to perform fit testing when directed by the Emergency Services Unit Manager.

Assist the Emergency Services Unit Manager in the development and implementation of employee health related educational and wellness type programs.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen (no dual citizenship).

  • Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a B.S. Nursing degree. (R.N.)

  • Applicant must be willing to commit to working part time during the school year and full time during the summer and break periods.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government clearance.

    Pay: $[[custsalaryMin]] - $[[custsalaryMax]]

    The starting hourly rate for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[custsalaryMin]] and $[[custsalaryMax]] per hour. The hourly rate offered is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
