Tetra Tech is seeking local interns for the Construction Group. Candidates should be highly motivated, self-starting individuals with the interest to learn the tasks and duties of both RPR/Construction Management position, and have the intent of becoming a permanent employee. Additionally, the candidate will become familiar with construction contract administration and field duties.

Your Role:

Resident Project Representative (RPR) Field: Observation and reporting of construction activities performed by contractor Maintain records, act as on-site client contact, assist in troubleshooting Generate daily reports documenting contractor's activities and material usage Municipal projects

Construction Manager (CM) Office: Meetings, including chairing and minutes, process documents such as contractor's payment applications, change orders, requests for information Serve as a liaison between contractor and client Excellent written and oral communication skills are required

Qualifications: Associates Degree, or currently enrolled in, Construction Management program at a college or university with 1-2 year or less remaining, preferred Valid Driver's License with an and acceptable driving record Strong desire to maintain a career in construction contract administration as a consultant Experience with Microsoft Office software, to include Word and Excel

Physical Requirements: This position may require protracted or irregular hours depending on the season Traverse over rough terrain, and occasionally operate miscellaneous survey equipment Occasionally ascend/descend ladders May be subject to exposure to extreme outdoor weather conditions, hazardous materials and chemicals, heavy construction equipment, heights, as well as air and waterborne pathogens
