Our client, a leader in the accounting industry, is seeking an Accounting Intern to join their team. As an Accounting Intern, you will be part of the finance department supporting various accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of financial principles, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounting Intern (HYBRID)

Location: Athens, GA

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Assist with month-end financial reports

• Post journal entries

• Assist with audits

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts

• Collaborate with the finance team on yearly forecasting efforts

What's Needed?

• Accounting major

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Aptitude for mathematics

• Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles (i.e. Debits and Credits)

• Ability to multitask
