PROGRAM SUMMARY: The Division Rotational Internship Program is intended to have participants develop an understanding of the various business functions within KB Home, particularly in its field operations and divisions. The participant will learn under leadership and members in each of the below listed departments and will be required to take online training courses while concurrently learning applicable on the job skills and competencies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing
Shadow Marketing staff and attend scheduled Marketing meetings
Attend broker events, consumer events and Sales Representative outreach events
Review advertising campaigns, budgeting process and interaction with national Marketing vendors
Review brochures and collateral
Review brand standards and brand guide
Learn how Marketing sets up a new community, including sales office and model home complex
Walk models, review signage and graphics against corporate guidelines, and address issues to ensure excellence in model home and sales office presentation
Learn website and MLS management systems, maintain website material and MLS listings as needed
Review social media accounts and content submission guidelines
Observe how Marketing supports the sales team and assists with special projects
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Certifications/Licenses
High school degree or equivalent required
Currently in-program or having just graduated with a degree in Marketing, Social Media Management or other industry-related discipline
Experience
- Experience in a Real Estate, Marketing, Social Media Management, or Event Promotion is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent organizational and project management skills
High attention to detail and highly organized
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and creative problem-solving skills
Strong critical thinking capabilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues
An independent self-starter and willingness to learn
Proven ability in being proactive and results-oriented
Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office suite
Work Requirements
8-hour work days with flexibility to work overtime when needed due to special projects or events
Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to potential buyers, trade partners, and coworkers to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the company
