Johns Hopkins University IT & Finance Automation Intern in Baltimore, Maryland
IT@JH is looking for an IT & Finance Automation Intern who will work under direct guidance from existing JHU IT@JH staff and will provide basic, entry level support primarily focusing on automation and reporting for the IT Finance team.
Specific duties and responsibilities
Utilize basic knowledge of computer systems, applications and interfaces.
Gather appropriate data and devise and design simple solutions.
Devise simple bench-marking metrics to assess system, application, or database performance.
Provide attention to detail in data gathering, specifications development and documentation and record keeping.
Utilize basic degree of analytical skill.
Work under direct supervision in support of team initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
Some college.
Some experience.
Preferred Qualifications
MS Office (word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with data collection and reporting tools
