We are hiring an aspiring Structural Engineer for an internship during the summer of 2024 . This position will be located in our Bethlehem or Wilkes-Barre, PA office.

Responsibilities:

• Structural Engineering with a focus on structural design

• Assisting in preparing engineering-related calculations, design drawings, specifications, and visual aids

• Assisting with fieldwork (e.g., construction observation, soil sampling, site inspections)

• Reviewing submittals and technical documents to assess compliance with project requirements and preparing draft documents

• Perform Revit 3D modeling

• Miscellaneous assignments on an as-needed basis

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university or college

• Experience in AutoCad, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel

• Steel and concrete-related courses

• Previous internship or fieldwork experience

• Knowledge of Revit is preferred

• Knowledge of IBC International Building Codes is preferred

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

• Work visas and PERM applications are not supported in this role
