POSITION SUMMARY:

To be fully engaged in providing Quality/No Harm, Customer Experience, and Stewardship by: providing exceptional support to the Human Resources department. Partners with the assigned department to achieve project goals as assigned. An excellent opportunity for a High School or College student to gain valuable Human Resource experiences across multiple departments as well as contribute to a high performing team.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Quality/No Harm:

• Assists with maintaining a clean work area.
• Assists with area clerical duties such as typing, photocopying, filing and faxing documents, reports and other materials for electronic file transition.
• May place calls to other departments or outside organizations on behalf of department to assist with coordination of department activities if requested. May be responsible for mail pickup.
• Responsible for assisting with the maintenance of area files and filing system.

Customer Experience:

• Assists other Human Resources staff with clerical duties and other duties as assigned as time permits.

Stewardship:

• Shows commitment to individual and departmental Continuous Quality Improvement and organizational operational effectiveness.
• Performs other duties as requested by area supervisor and area personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Health First has partnered with Brevard Public Schools to work directly with students who are in an approved high school program to work as an intern
• On-the-job training provided.
• Ability to read and write at high school level.
• Ability to use or operate computer, copy machine, etc.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and follow Health First's confidentiality guidelines.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Ability to meet additional demands and lifting requirements as defined by the department.

MENTAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to work and maintain composure in a stressful environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks during a workday.
