As the Order Management Intern you will be joining a dynamic environment as part of the Clinical Accessories Order Management team. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside order management and customer service professionals within various fields related to the execution of customer orders in French speaking countries. You will gain exposure supporting the Sales teams and assisting the greater Supply Chain organization in achieving its annual goals and objectives as an active participant.
Responsibilities:
Validating and booking customer orders with accuracy and according to compliance requirements
Managing open orders backlog to ensure timely fulfillment, delivery, invoicing, and closure
Communicating with different stakeholders, both internal and external, in various functions (commercial team, manufacturing, finance, logistics, warehouse, controllership, transportation companies etc.)
Identifying and escalating order execution risks and issues
Processing Returns and Out Of Box Failures
Ordering demo inventory in support of Commercial Sales
Creating and updating Work Instructions and Job Aids
Handling customers inquiries
Qualifications/Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or local equivalent
Current enrollment in a degree program that will lead to a bachelors or technical degree or equivalent in the function (or similar) in which the intern will work OR has a bachelors degree or technical degree in the function (or similar) he or she is interning in.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook, with an ability to learn new systems;
Effective time management and organizational skills;
able to balance multiple priorities
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
Fluent in English & French (both written and spoken); additional European languages are an asset
Exhibits a strong work ethic and ability to work well both independently and within a team.
Desired Characteristics
At least 24 credit hours of coursework toward a bachelors/technical (or equivalent) degree in the function you are interning or a recent graduate from a Bachelors/technical program in the function you are interning.
Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines.
Previous experience using independent thought processes to plan ahead, process information, maintain workflow and anticipate future needs of the team.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
