JOB DESCRIPTION:

On-Road division of Polaris Industries (Indian Motorcycle & Slingshot) is currently seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and driven industrial design intern for the European studio in Burgdorf, Switzerland. We are looking for candidates with a strong creative talent in developing unique design concepts in a fast paced, creative environment. Candidate must have practical problem-solving skills and is driven to develop thoughtful design solutions that create meaningful user experiences. Candidates should be familiar with the basic working knowledge of the vehicles, possess strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate ideas through outstanding visualization skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Intern will experience real world scenario by supporting On-Road production programs for the global market.

  • Propose unique problem-solving ideas and generate multiple creative design concepts that captures the brand and pushes the envelope.

  • Excellent time management, organization & prioritization skills required to handle multiple production projects simultaneously within tight timelines and meet deadlines.

  • Support and report to senior industrial design staffs.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:

  • Currently enrolled in an Industrial Design program from a recognized design school required

  • 0-3 years experience

  • A portfolio that demonstrates wide-ranging concept exploration, innovative solutions, a clear design process and is visually appealing.

  • Meticulous attention to details and great form development.

  • Strong visual communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Proficient in 2D and 3D design visualization tools (Photoshop, Painter, Sketchbook, etc.)

  • Self-motivated, analytical, and artistic.

  • Passionate about motorcycles and Powersports.

  • Good team player

  • MUST Possess an EU OR Swiss Passport
