Shaw Contract is a global design leader in the B2B commercial flooring for some of the world’s most creative and innovative environments. Our vast, sustainable product offerings can be found in diverse markets such as workplace, healthcare, hospitality, education, and multi-family dwellings; supporting the spaces in which we work, learn, live, play and heal.

With over 300 account managers across the globe, the Shaw Contract marketing department supports sales of our flooring via product literature and promotional support, website, digital marketing, social media engagement, technical papers, and general sales support on events, promotions and presentations. The Marketing Intern will work with the marketing team on assignments that will support two key initiatives: Projects that enhance sales efforts and Internal project management tool to streamline projects between marketing teams. The Marketing Intern will also assist with other overall marketing initiatives such as internal communications and support of our salesforce.

Responsibilities

· Conduct ongoing reviews of ShawContract.com SEO performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing updates based on SEO research.

o Tool: SEMrush – Utilize insights to optimize website performance.

· Use Marketing Automation software to setup and send out emails

o Tool: Salesforce Account Engagement

· Set up blogs and webpages using the Kentico CMS

o Collaborate with the marketing communications team to develop content strategies informed by SEO research.

· Working with marketing leadership to setup marketing project management software

· Support team leaders on marketing projects

· Perform light HTML editing as needed

Position Requirements

· Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related degree

· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

· Advanced Writing and editing abilities

· Conceptual understanding of marketing automation & lead generation

· Friendly, outgoing personality and can-do attitude

· Possess good time management skills, multi-tasker and ability to meet deadlines

· General knowledge of Microsoft 365 & Adobe Acrobat

Location: This is an in-office position located in Cartersville, Georgia.
