Job Description Summary
The FP&A Manager provides financial planning and analysis leadership across the International P&L for the $1.3Bn Pharmaceutical Diagnostics business. The manager is expected to drive business optimisation, rigor, transparency and credibility, being the key partner to the International CFO and also synchronising with the Global PDx FP&A team.

Job Description
Responsibilities
Responsible for daily / weekly / monthly and quarterly closing/estimates and develop reliable estimates of sales to operating profit.
Tracking progress against plans at a granular level. Recommending actions to get to planned performance for the operating teams
Communicate current results and estimates to business leaders.
Partner with International CFO and Regional Finance Managers to drive financial and operating performance, including volume and price growth, & act as champion for strategic initiatives within the organization.
Drive profitable growth in the region by providing analysis of results and identifying & tracking key metrics while advising the International CFO on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions.
Budgeting process, S&OP and target process
Develop and improve financial processes: Finance reporting tools, Management reporting tools, Develop deep domain expertise on customers/regions/market dynamics and growth trends
Drive operational mechanisms and continuously improve processes through Lean principles
Champion Finance Transformation through business optimization, digital enhancements and simplification
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and significant relevant financial work experience.
Demonstrated experience and understanding of Accounting Principles and Controllership.
Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.
Clear thinking / problem solving successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas
Leadership experience: successful in leading team members working in international and diverse environment. Strong in people/team development.
Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; story telling/influential skills/able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing
Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
Desirable Skills
Strong knowledge of GE financial and commercial operating systems
Experience working in a matrixed environment and a multi-cultural environment
Experience in developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, functions, and regions
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to add value to operating teams
Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure; accelerate pacing of actions; collaborate for a dynamic daily management system.
Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
Self-starter who can quickly and independently assess business requirements and become a trusted an integral part of the team.
