Position Overview
Summary : Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, Texas, Inc. is offering exciting summer internships for college students who have completed at least their sophomore year. We provide a supportive and collaborative teaching environment to help interns develop their skills and pinpoint their career goals. This opportunity offers invaluable experience with an industry-leading biopharmaceutical contractdevelopmentmanufacturing organization.Interns will work under the guidance of a department manager on a project focused on enhancing current processes and improving efficiency.Internships typically run from mid-May to August, with specific dates determined collaboratively between the intern, their supervisor, and Human Resources.
The key objective of this internship is to assist in the development the DeltaV and manufacturing control network enclosure layout drawing.
Start Date: This internship is set to beginonMay19th,2025for an 11-week duration endingonAugust8th2025.
Relocation: Please note this Internship Opportunity is designed to be 100% Onsite, 40 hours/week and a relocation/housing stipend is not provided.

Job Description
Essential Functions (will vary based on departmental need) :
Produce detailed device cable connection drawings for the manufacturing control network (MCN) for each service switch side-wide.
Compile a spreadsheet containing all the control network labeling connection details.
Perform an assessment to organize and distribute the FDBT Automation share folder.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Visio, MS Office and Outlook software.
Electrical engineering (route cables, data ports)
Basic understanding of networking (switches, servers, ethernet structure)
Ability to read blueprints/schematics
Gowning
Excellent organizational and communication skills to produce high-quality documentation and facilitate collaboration.
Energetic and proactive attitude, with the ability to bring fresh ideas and improvements to the FDBT site.
Strong desire to contribute significantly to process enhancements and project efficiency.

Qualifications:
Full-timeUndergraduatewho has completed their sophomore year,or Graduatestudent, preferablyenrolled in a relevant academic program (e.g., Engineering, Life Sciences Discipline, or related fields).
Demonstrated interest in program management and project lifecycle processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some knowledge of biotech/biopharmais preferred.
