Job Description: The Sales and Marketing Intern will support the sales function by managing internal and external communications with customers, vendors, and buyers. The intern may be required to make sales calls, follow up on leads, or generate call logs for sales reps, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Implement strategic sales plans

• Facilitate client discussions to understand end user requirements

• Develop market analysis to identify customer needs, price points, etc.

• Stay current with client needs, competition, and industry trends

• Deliver sales presentations/proposals to prospective clients with a successful closing rate

• Evaluate accounts and manage projects to make sure that they get completed in a timely manner

• Responsible for assisting with sales/marketing and advertising campaigns

• Represent the company at sales/trade shows, as necessary

Qualifications

• Professional verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

• Ability to multi-task and follow up without direct supervision

• Must be a self-starter and have a desire to learn and grow

• Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program in a business related field
