Sony Pictures Entertainment Sony Pictures International Productions Intern – Summer 2025 in Culver City, California

Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that builds on your experience and develops your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.

This Summer Internship is from May/June through August 29th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.

Department Description:

Sony Pictures International Production creates, develops, and produces programming outside of the US, for both local and global audiences. It is home to a robust portfolio of wholly-owned and joint-venture production companies that operate across multiple countries in Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling phone calls

  • Distributing and following-up on documents

  • Updating databases and lists

  • Scheduling and preparing for meetings and handling calendar

  • Proof reading and editing

  • Handling document flow, including creating and maintaining files (electronic and hard copy)

  • Reading and evaluating scripts, screening movies

  • Able to work in an int ’ l work environment with different languages, foreign names and cultures

  • Second language is not a requirement but preferably knowledge of Korean and German is a plus

  • Other general administrative duties (processing mail, copying, etc.)

  • Miscellaneous duties as required

    Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word and Lotus Notes)

  • Exceptional organizational and social skills

  • Able to multitask and prioritize to ensure that all assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Flexible – an ability to work well in an environment where needs and priorities are subject to much revision

  • Dependability, discretion and attention to detail are required

  • Self-starter with a team-player attitude

  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral (needs to have a professional and courteous demeanor)
