Regulatory Compliance Analyst (Intern)

About the Role:

Conduent is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Regulatory Compliance Analyst (Intern). This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in corporate compliance within a large, publicly traded, multinational organization. As an intern, you will support various corporate compliance activities, including conducting regulatory compliance reviews, facilitating communication among compliance professionals, and maintaining compliance documentation. You will also participate in collaborative projects in regulatory areas such as anti-bribery/anti-corruption, international trade, and corporate records management.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting Regulatory Compliance Reviews: Conduct reviews of third-party intermediaries, vendors, and clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Identifying and Assigning Tasks to Compliance SMEs: Select, assign, and delegate information and tasks to subject matter experts (SMEs) within the compliance team. Track tasks and obtain timely responses from SMEs to ensure compliance objectives are met.

  • Coordinating Meetings and Discussions: Arrange and schedule discussions, meetings, and dialogue among compliance professionals, SMEs, and other stakeholders. Ensure all relevant parties are informed and engaged in compliance-related activities.

  • Updating and Maintaining Compliance Documents: Assist SMEs in updating and maintaining compliance documents. Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant team members.

  • Monitoring Shared Inboxes: Routinely review incoming communications and route them to appropriate SMEs, compliance professionals, or other individuals as necessary.

  • Participating in Preparation of Training Materials: Work with SMEs on internal content development, production of training courses and materials, and monitoring/tracking completions. Communicate with learners and escalate any non-completion of training to internal SMEs.

  • Other activities include: Hands-on experience in corporate compliance, exposure to various compliance activities across regulated industries, mentorship from experienced professionals, and opportunities for professional development and networking.

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in a Law Degree (J.D. / LLM) program or a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Compliance).

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Possess excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to work with minimal supervision, from a remote location, and with individuals in multiple time zones.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

  • Familiarity with corporate compliance concepts and practices is a plus.

  • Fluent in other languages is a plus.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive, and Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $36,800-$46,000
