**[Job Description [Directly assist the HR Manager with a wide range of activities related to recruitment and onboarding, training, benefits, payroll and other administrative duties. The position offers the candidate the ability to apply classroom learning to a real-world setting. Coordinate and manage many of the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources Department, to ensure that the department runs smoothly.

Maintain and update confidential information related to employee records, including both hard copy and computer records.

Review candidate resumes, schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring team.

Support the pre-employment process for prospective candidates and the onboarding process for new hires.

Coordinate new employee orientation activities and benefits enrollment procedures.

Support administration of temp timekeeping.

Assist employees on a day-to-day basis with benefit questions and issues.

Assist with the coordination of training programs and employee professional development.

Compose and revise various correspondence, reports, forms, flyers and other information using acceptable business formats including newsletter and company announcements. Proofread final copy for errors.
