Our team:
Reporting into the VP Global Operations, our team is responsible of the entire built cycle of all of Bombardiers business aircrafts programs
Our operations extend on many sites, namely in Canada (Montreal, Toronto), the US (Texas) and in Mexico, all having their own specialization to ensure the AC delivery cycle time.
We create value in close collaboration with support functions (Planning, Logistics, Methods and Quality)
We are in the beginning of our journey of defining the strategic vision of the SMART factory of tomorrow
What are your contributions to the team?
Perform go and see’s in production to understand fabrication practices and tools used in order to propose innovative technologies to improve them
Participate in editing recommendations and/or business cases
Participate in pilot projects concerning new technology implementations
Provide technical expertise in establishing the strategic vision of Bombardier’s numerical transformation
During your internship, you will learn:
To develop competencies in strategic projects management
To develop competencies in operations management
To develop abilities of influence and communication
To take part of a multidisciplinary and multisite team.
How to thrive in this role?
You are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in operations management, industrial engineering with a specialty in digital technologies, AI, Industry 4.0,…
You have completed at least two years in the program
You are autonomous, have a good sense of initiative and appreciate teamwork
You possess the ability to transpose theorical solutions to concrete challenges
You are a good communicator (in both French and English) and can easily interact with collaborators
You have good analytical skills

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
