The Content Writer Intern will be responsible for expanding and editing the content library to create a robust resource for the enterprise as well as creating a learning module to enable teams on how to use content library and brand guidelines. You will also serve as a creative resource to the brand team and cross functional partners, taking on additional writing projects and participating in brainstorming and ideation sessions. The Content Writer Intern is a junior role on the Enterprise Brand Design and Expression team, reporting to the Creative Content Manager, and working closely with the writers and designers. The right candidate for this role is passionate about putting the customer first with easy-to-understand communications and always doing the right thing to allow us to succeed together. A Day in the Life: Creating content blocks from existing messaging Developing visuals through A/I to correlate with the content for the designers to leverage as starting points Collaborating with designers to refine A/I graphics. Prioritizing and organizing product sections within the SmartSheet content library Building a section within the library to house visuals Developing social posts related to each product Building a social media content section within the library Providing recommendations for opportunities to improve content, workflows and efficiencies Assisting in developing content rules and templates Completing additional tasks as assigned Participating in creative brainstorming sessions Required Skills and Experiences: Senior in college as of spring 2023 or fall 2024, enrolled in a journalism or marketing program. Intermediate knowledge of the fundamental concepts of copywriting with the ability to translate complex subject matter into consumer language. Fundamental knowledge of brand standards, visual communications, business and strategic principles. Demonstrated personal computer skills in the use of a suite of software tools (such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel). Adept at adopting other project management tools and software such as FileMaker Pro, artificial Intelligence, Miro, SmartSheet, etc. Ability to: communicate clearly and effectively with strong attention to detail. prioritize projects and juggle changing priorities while working under tight deadlines. collaborate on a cross-functional team. Work independently under general guidance and seek guidance on more complex tasks. contribute to creating an engaged, inclusive team environment.
