We are currently accepting applications for Alcohol and Drug Counselor Intern (ADC Intern) at our Residential program in Eden Prairie.

The ADC Intern is a student in a bona fide counselor education training program. The ADC Intern, working under the clinical and administrative supervision of the LADC Supervisor, is responsible for providing ongoing assessment, treatment planning, individual and group counseling sessions, individual and group recovery education, treatment plan reviews, continuing care planning and other written clinical documentation. All services are to be provided according to regulations established by Minnesota 245G and the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. The ADC Intern must participate in weekly clinical supervision provided by a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor Supervisor.

The ADC Intern will typically work an 8 hour daytime shift, Monday through Friday, and possibly occasional weekends as available.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum of high school diploma or GED. Must be enrolled in a formal alcohol and drug counselor training program at an accredited college or university. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to pass/clear the MN DHS Background Study and pass a UA drug test.
