How will you make an impact?

Our interns are matched to projects based on their abilities and current business needs. All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned.

Summer projects may include the following responsibilities:

• Partner with leadership to identify and address areas to improve efficiency and benchmark with industry best practices.

• Become a process owner; critically review specific processes with great attention to detail and proactively recommend opportunities for improvement.

• Use highly specialized equipment and instrumentation accurately and with limited supervision.

• Develop tools and models to improve tracking and efficiency.

• Learn continuous improvement methodologies (i.e., PPI, Six Sigma, and others) and help promote improvement initiatives.

• Work collaboratively with other functions including program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and finance to achieve business objectives.

Purpose of the position/responsibilities:

The Warehouse Admin and Reporting Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing and updating files, tables, graphs, and documents to ensure flawless metric management within the warehouse. This position is crucial in driving our ambition to maintain world-class standards and ensuring data accuracy for continuous operational excellence.

SPECIFIC TASKS/PRIMARY ACTIVITIES:

Programming

• Identify and propose improvements based on critical metrics to simplify operations and improve warehouse efficiency.

• Develop and maintain detailed documentation, ensuring all metrics are updated regularly to reflect current operations.

Management

• Identify and propose new critical metrics to improve our operational capacity.

• Regularly update and monitor these metrics to ensure detailed and consistent tracking.

• Collaborate with various teams to successfully implement actions from PPI initiatives, ensuring timely and effective execution.

• Generate and maintain updated documentation, including tables and graphs, to support constant activity monitoring.

• Support authorization and profile requests, particularly following training sessions for new and existing staff.

• Prepare warehouse purchase requests to ensure the necessary resources are always available.

• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to update the Capex file, actively participating in periodic meetings, and documenting decisions meticulously.

• Support Warehouse referents in verifying budget compliance by consistently monitoring expenses and identifying deviations.

• Provide analytical support to ensure financial objectives are met and operations are conducted efficiently.

• Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless and accurate flow of information.

• Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall organizational efficiency.

• Maintain a proactive attitude in problem-solving and handling daily challenges, ensuring all activities align with company policies and regulations.
