Florida Heat Pump Manufacturing , located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a joint venture between Robert Bosch (BOSCH Group) and Carrier Corporation. FHP Manufacturing is a leader in the production of geothermal and water source heat pumps, providing some of the most efficient heating and cooling comfort solutions in the industry.
Job Description
As a Manufacturing Intern at FHP Manufacturing (Bosch Group & Carrier Corporation) , you will support manufacturing, logistics, and operational processes to improve efficiency and productivity. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you will work alongside experienced professionals to support production operations, process improvements, and quality initiatives.. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various teams across the organization.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Some knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, or related principles.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Comfortable working with all levels of the organization .
Understanding of time studies, ergonomics, and industrial/manufacturing fundamentals .
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, including Value Stream Mapping ).
Previous manufacturing or hands-on experience is a plus but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills .
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
