Texas Instruments Sales Engineering / Account Management Intern (m/f/d) - Garching bei München, Deutschland Garching b. Muenchen, Germany

Combine your technical skills with selling and marketing skills to help our customers solve their most challenging problems, and to develop and deliver innovative solutions across various end equipments. Technical Sales Engineers at TI work directly with customers to ensure TI technologies are in the world's next-generation innovations.

Technical Sales Engineer Intern responsibilities include:

  • Gain hands-on experience in one of our Field Sales Offices (FSO) learning the Technical Sales Engineer role and how we conduct business with our customers

  • Prepare & follow up for customer meetings, calls, workshops and Tech Days

  • Support pricing and logistic topics, e.g. sample orders, price analysis, crossings

  • Prepare Monthly Review Meeting together with the Account Manager & read out to Management

  • Support with cold calls / email reach outs

  • Research on Market Trends in Industrial Sectors such as Motion Control & Process Automation

  • What are the big Technology Trends

  • How is our customer positioned vs. their competition

  • Worldwide trends, focus on China, what are emerging competitors

  • Implement Exchange with other Sales Teams focused on similar End Equipments to present and discuss the above

  • Set up specific webpages with relevant content for the customer

  • Align with the Field Application Engineer and the Product Lines on relevant content

  • Create an intuitive webpage which is easy to navigate for customers

  • Analyze activities and help to follow up with the customer

  • Work on hands-on, challenging projects and have opportunities to present your findings to leaders, including running a market analysis, customer case studies, running a project kick off, choosing high growth accounts, and making a final intern presentation

Minimum Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering with focus on Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Fluent in German and English is mandatory
