Resideo Mechanical Engineer Intern Golden Valley, Minnesota

As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you'll participate in all phases of product development lifecycle. You'll assist with the design of mechanical piece parts using 3D CAD software, create mechanical drawings, assemble product prototypes and perform testing, create reports, and work closely with product development teams. JOB DUTIES:
Design parts and assemblies using Creo.
Detailed tolerance analysis to ensure product robustness.
Develop engineering specifications.
Create and assemble prototype products.
Develop and perform tests to detect design issues and verify design robustness.
Analyze failed product and determine root cause.
Write engineering change documents.
Work in cross functional, international development teams.
YOU MUST HAVE:
Active student status pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Experience modeling with Creo or Solid Works.
Knowledge of, and ability to work with basic electrical circuits.
Proficient interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Proficient with Word and Excel.
Collaboration with other engineers and professionals in an interactive, team-based setting.
