DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking college interns to work at our East Granby CT location forTwelve-week assignments / projects.

The optical engineering intern will include projects such as: * Participate in the plan of experiments with cross-functional Design, Product, Process teams * Cleaving and splicing of optical fibers * Optical characterization of optical fibers and optical fiber assemblies * Data analysis and generation of summary reports

Quality and Environmental Responsibilities Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
