SAP NS2 IT Cloud Operations Intern

POSITION SUMMARY

As an IT Cloud Operations Intern at SAP NS2, you will provide a variety of administrative support to the NS2 Cloud Delivery organization. Work closely with program manager to support NS2 Cloud initiatives. Aid in the design of tools and processes to support team member collaboration, collect project data and prepare go-live communications. Participate in special projects, as required.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Effectively participate in cross-functional project teams and the problem-solving process

• Conduct technical hands-on work with Cloud and On-premise application as business needs evolve

• May create, review, deliver, and update end-user documentation (user guide, process flowcharts, and training materials) and training for accuracy

• Provides input on processes, procedures, or new approaches

• Perform key Recordkeeping functions

• Perform work independently within scope of established guidelines and according to specific procedures

• Assist Supervisors in handling and resolving issues involving all operational and various IT areas

• Complete system testing for Change Control enhancements

• Maintain clear and effective communications with immediate colleagues and Management

• Always adhere to internal procedures and best practices

• Project Management (Work streams including Change and Implementation, Technology)

• Solicits, develops, documents and manages requirements throughout project life cycle up to and through change control

• Assist with basic hands-on data center operations

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Self- motivated, creative, willing to work as a member of a team, organized

• Possess interest, ability and skill writing low to medium complexity shell scripts and software programs (BASH, Python , or Perl), as well as have the ability to complete basic Linux system administration tasks

• Past knowledge and experience with data network and IT security related items, including managing and installing patches to servers preferred

• Must be obtaining college credited degree or be a recent college graduate in Business, technology or related

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 15 - 62(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
