Process Engineer Intern - 2024

Job Description

As a Process Engineering Intern for KBR, you will be asked to perform many of the responsibilities and functions that would be expected of a graduate, entry level engineer. You will perform work activities on actual KBR projects overseen by a senior engineer. You will gain exposure to the following process engineering tasks while working in a dynamic team setting in the office:

  • P&ID and PFD development

  • Hydraulic calculations

  • Relief valve calculations

  • Vessel sizing

  • Process simulations and material balances

  • Possibility to cross-train in other Engineering disciplines such as Environmental, Process Safety, and/or Furnaces

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, seeking a baccalaureate, master's, or doctoral degree; or recently graduated from an accredited college or university with a baccalaureate, master's, or doctoral degree.

  • Good academic standing as established by your college or university

  • Have a declared degree and major appropriate for the position
