Healthfirst Information Management Intern - 2025 Summer Internship Hybrid, Florida

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring system performance, application health, and incident management.

  • Help identify and resolve production issues, working with cross-functional teams.

  • Support in tracking incidents, documenting issues, and ensuring timely resolution.

  • Assist in developing scripts or tools to improve efficiency in monitoring and reporting.

  • Update and create knowledge base articles for troubleshooting steps and system processes.

  • Work with infrastructure, engineering, and business teams to understand and support production systems.

  • Provide recommendations for optimizing system performance and incident response processes.

  • Research and investigate data issues. Develop a deep understanding of the relationship between business process, systems and the underlying data

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Passion for solving challenging problems usingtechnology

  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, databases, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).

  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell, SQL) is a plus.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Experience with object-oriented programming and ability to learn new programming languages

  • Proficiency with SQL 2+ years experience in a professional or academic setting

Healthfirst Internship Program Requirements:

  • Undergraduate students must be ajunior orsenior at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program. Graduate students must be enrolled at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program.

  • Will not require sponsorship foremployment

  • Eligible to work in the U.S.

  • Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA from an accreditedschool
