Your Role

Ever wonder how goods move around the world from A to Z? You will have a 3 month, comprehensive exposure to the supply chain industry at the global leader in ocean and air freight forwarding. Our exciting program at our North America headquarters features networking opportunities, executive guest speakers, and real-world exposure to industry technology and processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Integrate into a team on one of our major business units - Sea Logistics - supporting our customer care team

• Learn Kuehne + Nagel systems, terminology, and business solutions

• Participate in internship program activities, such as guest speakers, lunches and check-in meetings

• Keep track of individual learning progress utilizing program resources

• Develop a presentation at the conclusion of the program to demonstrate your learning experience

Your Skills and Experiences

• Currently an undergraduate student, ideally majoring in supply chain management or related major

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Comfortable collaborating with other logistics colleague, including in-person, virtual meetings, and through phone calls

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment

• Possesses a positive attitude with an interest in learning and growing

• This position is onsite at our Jersey City office Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm onsite for the duration of the summer, starting after Spring coursework ends
