Job Description:
Are you a creative and driven individual ready to make a real impact? We are looking for a passionate Marketing Intern to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. In this role, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in various marketing activities and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
What will the programme look like?
As a Marketing Intern, you will support the Campaign Manager in the planning, development, execution, and optimisation of marketing initiatives aimed at increasing engagement, demand, and advocacy among both existing and new customers. By assisting in the creation of highly relevant and engaging programs and campaigns, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance for the Sage product portfolio.
Beyond work experience, we also encourage all our colleagues to give back to their communities, offering five fully paid days per year for volunteering, fundraising, or other charitable activities through our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
This is a hybrid role – three days per week in our Johannesburg office.
Key Responsibilities:
Summary of the Role
• Assisting with the planning and implementation of marketing activations for direct and partner campaigns.
• Providing support for marketing events and exhibitions as required.
• Coordinating the production of marketing communications and collateral.
• Uploading marketing materials to online libraries, internet groups, and internal social media platforms.
• Supporting social media content creation for the region.
• Updating and maintaining marketing department documentation.
• Managing branding and marketing assets, including ordering, distribution, maintenance, and stock control.
• Coordinating special projects and marketing-related elements.
• Assisting with the sales, marketing, and communication functions of the team and handling other related duties as assigned.

• If your video interview is successful, you’ll be invited to an Assessment Centre
• Successful candidates will join our Intern Programme on 15th June 2025 for 12 months
