Job Description

The Office of Faith Engagement is looking for a Marketing/Communications intern. This internship will have the below responsibilities and projects assigned.

Intern Responsibilities / Projects:

Responsibilities and desired experience include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Researching, writing, and editing newsletter articles and social media posts collaboratively with OFE Director and Executive Secretary.

  • Helps with social media, researching content, drafting postings, sourcing images, tracking and filing reports on reach and engagement.

  • Helps with compiling information and statistics from regional contact list and the reporting of those stats.

  • Assists with the reporting of marketing KPIs.

  • Coordinating the Director’s and Administrative Assistant’s schedules to present at ministerial alliance meetings and other key events.

  • Design and layout of social media graphics/images and other materials.

  • Helps with conducting surveys.

  • Helps with the management of community calendar requests.

Required Education and Experience

At the time of internship, the candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college in one of the areas of study listed below:

Marketing/Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Advertising, English, or related field of study.

Alternate Education and Experience

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Marketing and Graphic Design experience also preferred.

  • This is a virtual internship. However, the location or physical address of the office for the internship is Cadillac Place, 3044 West Grand Blvd., Ste. 4-700, Detroit, MI 48202.
