What You’ll do (the role)

Summary

The Summer Internship program is twelve weeks long and will run from June 2nd 2025 to August 22nd 2025. Interns will be paid 870€ brut/month. This is a hybrid role, and the trainee must be able to work from our office in Lisbon at least 3 days per week.

Duties & Responsibilities

The role will involve working on some aspects of the planning process. The focus will be on the management of environmental processes ongoing within the portfolio and engaging consultants to prepare environmental assessments and planning applications/amendments.

  • Identifying and reporting on environmental and permitting risks, requirements processes and timeframes across project pipeline.

  • Planning constraints analysis, including desktop assessments, use of GIS tools, and site visits.

  • Preparing technical specifications and consultant scope of works for contracts undertaking post-construction planning compliance audits for operational assets

Who we’re looking for

Education & Experience

  • Applicants must have knowledge of the Portuguese environmental and planning system;

  • Experience in using GIS tools for constraints mapping (ArcGIS or similar) including the restrictions defined in municipal land management documents (PDMs)
