GIS Intern
What you’ll do
You will support the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Geospatial team in the processing and management of mapping content to support geospatial activities.
You will gain experience in the tools a Geospatial professional uses to conduct daily tasks, and develop skills applying GIS processes to support the development of renewable energy projects.
The work carried out will contribute to the central management and analysis of geospatial data, and provide new insights to the business through data delivery and visualisation.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Enhance existing ETL data workflows to manage data within the central geospatial database
• Ensure metadata is maintained within the geospatial database
• Source and upload project layouts for web mapping
• Provide support in the use of GIS for constraint analysis
Technologies Used
• ESRI ArcGIS Pro, Server, Portal
• Safe FME
• AutoCad

Internship Details:
Pay rate: 13.85 per hour
Dates of internship: June 2nd through August 22nd
Location: Lighstsource bp London office: 7th floor, 33 Holborn, City of London, London EC1N 2HU, United Kingdom
