What You Will Do

• Support FIDO's US Department of Energy (DOE) Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) user facility operations, working in partnership with technical experts from across the global climate science community

• Install, operate, repair and maintain meteorological instrumentation and instrument systems

• Assemble, repair and design equipment

• Create project deliverables using GIS mapping and drafting software

• Participate in special projects and other tasks, as assigned

What You Need

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Communication : Demonstrated interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

• Collaboration: 1 year of experience collaborating with a team to achieve shared goals

• Time Management: Ability to work independently within a team, including the ability to take initiative, prioritize, and meet deadlines

• Technical Problem Solving: 3 months of experience performing diagnostic testing on low-voltage circuits and familiarity with the use of hand tools

• Software : 3 months of experience using GIS, 2D drafting, and/or 3D modeling software.

Desired Qualifications:

• 3 months of experience in networking protocols

• 1 year of experience in a mentorship or leadership role

Work Location: The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.

Directive 206.2 Employment with Triad requires a favorable decision by NNSA indicating employee is suitable under NNSA Supplemental Directive 206.2.
