What You’ll do (the role)

Summary

The Summer Internship program is twelve weeks long and will run from June 2nd 2025 to August 22nd 2025. Interns will be paid 1.500€ brut/month. This is a hybrid role, and the trainee must be able to work from our office in Madrid at least 3 days per week.

Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for three trainees to join our Engineering Centre of Excellence in the following departments:

  • PV Performance

  • PV Mounting Structures

  • PV Engineering

PV Performance

As an intern in the Performance Team, you will support the evaluation and optimization of photovoltaic (PV) plants in operation. You will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools, such as PVSYST and SCADA systems, while working closely with experienced engineers to analyze and interpret PV performance data.

PV Mounting Structures

As an intern in the Mounting Structures team, you will support the assessment and optimization of PV mounting structures for global solar projects at various stages, from development to operation. You will assist in preparing technical specifications, evaluating market technologies and suppliers, and developing a global roadmap for PV mounting structures. The role involves working closely with multiple departments, including Procurement, Civil Works, and Asset Management, to ensure cost-effective and high-quality solutions.

PV Engineering

As an intern in the PV Engineering Department, you will analyze operational data from various projects, support PV performance assessments, and evaluate new technologies. You will contribute to innovation projects, performance improvements, and standardizing engineering requirements across LSbp’s portfolio.

Who we’re looking for

Education & Experience

  • Currently pursuing a Degree or Master’s degree in Engineering (Energy, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or a related field).

  • Knowledge of renewable energy, solar PV, BESS or Wind.

  • Skills in Excel or other data analysis software (Python, R, PowerBI, Excel VBA) are a plus

  • Fluent English spoken and written. Additional languages are a plus.
