What You’ll do (the role)
Summary
The Summer Internship program is twelve weeks long and will run from June 2nd 2025 to August 22nd 2025. Interns will be paid 1.500€ brut/month. This is a hybrid role, and the trainee must be able to work from our office in Madrid at least 3 days per week.
Duties & Responsibilities
The candidate will assist on business risks (Credit,Investment and market risks) by analyzing financial data to address global risk accross the business and protecting the Company by complying with risk appetite.
Managing global credit exposures at LSbp, being the credit gateway and responsible for monitoring credit exposures.
Examine financial transactions and credit history case by case (applications, statements, balance sheets, legal documents etc)
Implementing credit risk tool globally for assessing and monitoring credit risk
Implementing internal automated processes for credit requests and replies to the different teams (coordinated with Compliance, Sustainability and HSE)
Coordinate with teams negotiating credit support from counterparties and calculation of credit requirements for new contracts (construction, supply, power marketing) to comply with Lsbp risk appetite.
Coordination with Compliance, Sustainability and HSE and Quality for full counterparty assessment
Carefully analysed data and produce clear and objective reports to for the Investment Risk Committe and Executive Committe.
Assisting the company in managing its investment portfolio.
Who we’re looking for
Education & Experience
Excellent in verbal and non-verbal communication skills both in English and Spanish.
Proven advance knowledge in Excel and MS 365.
Degree in Business Administration/Economics/Finance or Engineering
