DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Criminal Justice Intern for the DOC, you will work directly with department personnel and leadership across the corrections system to complete various projects and assignments. Our interns must keep confidentiality a top priority as you will have access to confidential information, and have the opportunity to visit state correctional institutions and community corrections facilities to gain knowledge about the daily operations inside a facility. Your first week will include a training curriculum to help you navigate this landscape.

This internship program will provide an invaluable glance into Pennsylvania's criminal justice system and provide you with various ways to network and develop experience. Kick-start your career with DOC!

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time, 12-week internship from May 20, 2024 through August 9, 2024 Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch, 37.5 hours per week. QUALIFICATIONS Internship Requirements: You must be enrolled in an accredited college or university; Be 18 years of age or older; and Be working toward a degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Government Administration, or other related field. Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
