Job Responsibilities Finance - Business Support Assist with reporting and analysis Gain understanding of accruals, forecasting, and budgeting Develop organizational and planning skills Learn business support, strategy, and planning Sales and Revenue Forecasting Assist in the development of long-term sales and revenue forecasts using regression-based and other models Support weather-normalization process and actual vs. forecast sales variance reporting Updating UI forecast system with revenue forecasts Assist in responding to data requests in regulatory proceedings and audits Support process improvement initiatives and create process documentation Run queries of billing data Work with departments across the company to ensure accuracy of data and validity of information Gain experience using the following systems: Business Warehouse reporting, utilities International forecast planning tool, OpenC customer service billing system, and Itron MetrixND (used to develop forecasting models) Treasury Assist in SAP cash clearing (FEBAN) Gain understanding of account reconciliations Troubleshoot issues between SAP and the banks Participate in letter of credit and risk analysis Shadow SAP process reconciliation between OPEN-C and SAP The intern will learn SAP general ledger and Treasury Module, OpenC customer service billing system, how credit facilities work and how to analyze credit risk of counter parties.
