The Contracts Coordinator, Customer Operations intern role will support the management of the BDI Contract Sales and Pricing team (subject to change). Tasks include, but are not limited to, e-filing, triage mailbox, and contract execution on system as required. This role requires incredible attention to detail, an ability to shift focus to assist in prioritised tasks as needed and be able to work with minimal supervision once training is completed. Must be able to work onsite Monday through Thursday in our offices in Mississauga, ON, remote on Fridays.
Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
Support Level 1 SLA for day of resolution turnaround time including: contract membership additions, product additions for Customer Service order management issues.
Triage first-line support for inbound communications of shared GMB (general mailbox)
Support e-filing system
Assist Contract Specialists with ad hoc reports including, but not limited to, product and price extracts, membership queries, list price extracts, or master data extracts.
Support contract execution directly (i.e., loading into ERP system) or indirectly (i.e., pulling information to populate template)
Education and Experience
Required
You must be currently enrolled in a qualifying undergraduate program in business-related field.
You must have completed at least 3 years of studies, in an accredited Ontario based college/university.
Must be in good academic standing pursuing their degree, combined with the ability to work for 4 months in the summer.
Preferred
- Good understanding of contract management and customer support a strong asset.
Knowledge and Skills:
Required
Proficiency with MS Office tools including proficiency working with Excel (LOOKUP function).
Strong teammate and collaborator with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong documentation skills including attention to detail, excellent follow-up skills.
Thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Quick learner and strives for self-improvement.
Flexibility and ability to balance competing priorities, projects and able to work within tight timelines under pressure.
Fluency in English required (read, write, speak).
Preferred
- Fluency in French a strong asset.
