Summary:

Position Description: Cardiovascular Interventional Tech Intern - Electrophysiology

• The Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist intern performs diagnostic and interventions under the general supervision of the Cardiovascular team members and physicians following the guidelines and policies of the department.

• Required to be in intern position 1 year prior to advancing to Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist job code.

• Required Certification includes ACLS required prior to team member being independent on cardiovascular team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active BLS certification (Red Cross or American Heart Association)

• ACLS within 6 months of hire

• Associates in Radiology with ARRT

• OR Associates in Respiratory with RRT, Active NBRC Credential
