Job Description Summary

An enrolled student in the compliance analysts’ team, responsible for providing support in his/her region to the business on a variety of transactions and compliance issues. The Compliance Analyst (IPP COE) ensures all high-risk payments are identified and routed through established processes for effective control.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include

  • Acting as a partner by applying combined legal and compliance judgment to proposed transactions, relationships and other issues requiring review and attention.

  • Highlighting and resolving improper payments concerns, segregation of duties questions, conflicts of interest, Anti-Kickback concerns, high risk payments, and Healthcare Professional transparency requirements.

  • Flagging & escalating any red flags/violations with applicable policies, guidelines & procedures to Legal & Compliance.

  • Validate proof of delivery related to high-risk transactions (e.g. alignment with contractual terms for research agreements etc.).

  • Work closely with Legal, Compliance and Finance and ensure compliance in very diverse commercial and regulatory environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a degree program that will lead to a bachelor’s in finance/legal or similar.

  • Readiness to work at least 25 hours per week (hybrid type of work, 1-2 office days, the rest can be remote)

  • Upper-intermediate English

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Effective time management and organizational skills; ability to balance multiple priorities.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
