We are seeking a self-driven and motivated engineering professional to join our Modeling and Simulation Solutions (MSS) Team in Munich. The MSS group is a worldwide team; thus the candidate will work with colleagues in the USA, Europe, China, and South Korea. Our focus is to develop and implement new simulation methods and flows in the onsemi product development process , particularly for SiC technologies.

This internship will provide the opportunity to work closely with an engineering mentor and team in developing power electronics using Ansys Workbench and AEDT.

Performance Objectives

The successful candidate will participate in some of the following development activities:

• Integration of Chip/Package/System workflows and methodologies

• Expand your skills in thermal, structural, electrical and coupled-field simulations

• Python coding and workflow automation

• Design optimization

• Develop yourself by working on real case scenarios in a multinational engineering team

• Present your results to the internal engineering community

Requirements:

Enthusiastic about modeling and simulation of power electronics systems. Basic knowledge of Finite Element Analysis and programming skills is mandatory. Experience with Ansys Workbench and AEDT is a plus. Strong verbal communication skills help to work and present yourself in an international team.
