Job Summary
In this position, the intern will utilize and develop their basic knowledge of Supply Chain to help to design, analyze, and improve a Continuous Improvement oriented culture. This opportunity enables an individual to grow and innovate while being able to experience a cross-functional work environment and implement new technologies in building world-class seating systems.
Responsibilities:
Assist with inventory counting and tracking
Learn inventory management techniques
Support improvement initiatives
Pull and analyze data
Help create spreadsheets and reports
Support inventory management processes
Support team members in day-to-day operations including hands on activity on the production floor. 50% of the time will be spent on the production floor.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an accredited institution of learning pursuing a bachelor's degree or pursuing a Master's degree with Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics
Strong Microsoft Office knowledge especially Excel
Desire to learn diverse Supply Chain skills in a corporate environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Maintain a positive attitude, is enthusiastic and a team player
Ability to support multiple work assignments with strong time management
Must have 3.0 or better GPA
Summer Interns will work 40 hours per week (full-time), with a targeted start date of May 5, 2025
