House of Blues Fall 2024 Intern - TV & Film in New York, New York

Job Summary:

Title: Intern – TV & Film (In-Person, Unpaid, For College Credit)

Location: New York, NY (On-Site)

The Role:

Roc Nation, a Live Nation joint venture , is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and enthusiastic individual, who is interested in learning more about the live entertainment industry. This internship will allow students to gain first-hand experience in a variety of areas, including but not limited to sourcing materials, conceptualizing ideas and research and development. The internship offers exciting hands-on experience and the opportunity to gain new skills.

Areas that you will be learning about:

  • Assist in researching top streaming platforms, scripted and unscripted series, feature films and documentaries

  • Roc Nation clients and their interests in producing and creating long form content

  • How to collaborate with various departments working toward one common goal for an Artist or Athlete

  • Industry intelligence (producers and directors)

  • Assist with partner acknowledgement and follow-up

Qualifications :

  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment and still meet deadlines

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and follow-up skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Passionate about Film, TV, Media & Entertainment

  • Working knowledge of Photoshop/Adobe Premiere

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, emphasis on MS Excel skills

    This internship is available for the Fall semester. This is a non-paid internship, with flexible hours (minimum of 16 hours per week) to reflect your necessary college credit requirements.

COVID-19 vaccination series and booster shot is a mandatory requirement for this position.
