Technology Intern

The New York Post is currently seeking a Technology Intern to join its team. Our team is looking for an energetic and independent individual to assist the Head of Technology and Project Leads in managing operational and project initiatives. Some of the cool projects in process are Sports Plus membership, cyber security and privacy initiatives, data architecture and program execution, implementation of a digital asset management platform, plus more.

Responsibilities:

– Perform as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for projects that he/she is responsible for

– Assist with completion of project deliverables, tasks, tracking and reporting

– Analyze reports and manage KPIs with Shared IT Services

– Manage, track and report on project budgets

– Assist with manage IT contracts

– Assist with managing IT procurement (hardware and software)

– Organize and publish project related documentation in various sources

– Demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

– Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.

– Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment.

Required Qualifications:

– Outstanding customer service.

– Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

– Must be proficient in G-Suite

– Comfortable communicating with users and stakeholders

– Excellent written and verbal communication

– Ability to manage time and juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines

– Strong understanding of / interest in technology trends

Note: NY Post has returned to the office in a hybrid work schedule.

Pay Range: $16/hour
