Therefore we are looking for a Junior Project Engineer Internship for Cummins in Cameri!

Purpose of the activity is the definition and validation of a new lubrication method for a full axle. Approach to the problem requires: numerical modeling, using SPH software (Particleworks) for the definition of concepts to improve oil flow according to different duty cycles and experimental to detect on efficiency bench and power loss bench the behaviour of the DOE.

Qualifications

• Applying a broad level of technical awareness across multiple engineering disciplines such as engine performance, mechanics, aerodynamics and design.

• Definition and validation of a new lubrication method for a full axle.

• Approach to the problem requires: numerical modeling, using SPH software (Particleworks) for the definition of concepts to improve oil flow according to different duty cycles and experimental to detect on efficiency bench and power loss bench the behaviour of the DOE.

Responsibilities

• Profile in mechanical engineering with strong background in automotive, aerospace, or hybrid dynamics

• Specific skills in vehicle dynamics and system engineering

• Proficiency in Design of Experiment (DOE) - Fluid Dynamics knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.

• Importance of good communication, analysis

• Italian and English proficient.
