Lockheed Martin ILS Modeling, Analytics & Visualization Internship - Orlando, FL Orlando, Florida

Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly motivated candidate who wishes to gain work experience in Digital Twins, Modeling and Simulation, and Artificial Intelligence in support of Logistics and Sustainment Engineering activities for the business.

Basic Qualifications:

• pursuing a bachelors degree in a related discipline

• has knowledge of or basic proficiency with common Software Engineering tools / Programming Languages (examples: JavaScript, Python, HTML, C) and/or common Modeling and Simulation tools (examples: Cameo Systems Modeler, Nvidia Omniverse, MATLAB, Docker, Simulink)

• is a creative problem-solver with the ability to contribute innovative ideas to help solve complex engineering problems

• has an interest in supporting the U.S. Aerospace & Defense industries and in supporting Lockheed Martin’s role in ensuring global security

• If placed on an Engineering team that works on-site, the candidate must be willing to work in-person at a Lockheed Martin facility in the Orlando, Florida area, one or more days per week, as needed

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
