POSITION SUMMARY
Assist and support the Corporate Tax Department with the below tasks and other projects as they arise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare sales and use tax returns.
Assist with sales and use tax audits.
Reconcile tax accounts monthly.
Assist with federal income tax returns.
Maintain state income tax payment/refund
Prepare sales use tax exemption certificates.
Conduct various tax related research.
Assist with foreign true-up calculations and country by country reporting.
Work on invoicing and expense reports.
Prepare weekly tax update.
Assist with other tax projects as required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Student in a Junior standing working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and who has completed Intermediate Accounting courses or will complete within the next year.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
Willing to work year-round; part-time during school year & full-time during summer and breaks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while working independently and efficiently.
Ability to prioritize work load to meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Student having a strong interest in gaining Corporate Tax experience.
Student able to intern at least 1 year (during school).
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Pay Range:
$18.00 - $37.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
