Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. Intern, Client Operations Digital Communications in Parsippany Troy Hills, New Jersey

We offer students the opportunity to spend a summer working at one of Securitas’ US Operating Centers. This internship program offers current college students a real-world application of business within the North America Shared Services organization. You will participate in a 10-12 week internship located in Parsippany, New Jersey for 32-40 hours per week.

As a Client Operations - Digital Communications Intern, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to real-world projects and gaining valuable experience in the field of digital communications. You will assist in driving digital marketing initiatives, supporting the creation, execution, and optimization of communication strategies to enhance client engagement and streamline operations. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment, mentorship from experienced professionals, and networking opportunities within the industry. You will have an opportunity to share new perspectives, fresh ideas, specialized strengths, and technical skills to help grow our business.

Successful completion of the internship program could lead to a return internship for the following summer or employment at the organization in the future.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Content Creation: Develop and post content on social media platforms about topics, new releases, and tips.

  • Designing Manuals and Guides: Assist in creating and designing manuals and how-to guides for various processes and tools.

  • Video Tutorials: Create video tutorials to provide visual instructions and enhance user understanding.

  • Engagement Monitoring: Monitor and respond to interactions on social media platforms to maintain engagement with the audience.

  • Analytics Reporting: Track and report on the performance of social media posts and campaigns to identify areas for improvement.

  • Other duties as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

Education/Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field.

  • Experience: Previous experience or coursework in digital marketing, social media management, or content creation.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with social media tools, digital marketing platforms, and basic graphic design software.

  • Creativity: Demonstrated ability to create engaging and visually appealing content.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):

  • Basic Understanding of social media Tools: Willingness to learn and use social media platforms, especially Viva Engage, to create and post engaging content

  • Effective Communication : Effective collaboration skills in working with teams and internal/external stakeholders

  • Creative Skills : Proven ability to create visually appealing and engaging content, including posts, manuals, how-to guides, and video tutorials.

  • Analytical Mindset : Keen attention to detail and ability to track and report on the performance of social media posts and campaigns.

  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work well with others and communicate clearly with teammates.

  • Planning and Organization : Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.

  • Problem-Solving: Willingness to learn and develop problem-solving skills to effectively address challenges and improve processes.

  • Action-Oriented : Ability to take initiative and act proactively to achieve goals and complete tasks.
