Navy Federal Credit Union Intern - Year Round (Business Analyst) in Pensacola, Florida

Overview

Provides support, measurement, and governance to System Support operations to improve efficiency and reduce operational risks. Develops and oversees System Support processes, budget and metrics.

We have 2 teams:

  • Delivery & Support :

  • Oversees System Support AFP budget planning and execution to provide sufficient funding for operations and sponsored projects.

  • Provides operational portfolio dashboards and KPIs for initiatives, projects, incidents, vulnerabilities, problems, issues and risks.

  • Support Readiness :

  • Manages requests for enterprise system monitoring, Level 2+, and project support.

  • Coordinates support engagement for ARB and ORR to ensure operational readiness.

  • Maintain processes

Responsibilities

  • Performs work in support of the Desktop Governance & Compliance team and assists in areas including New Desktop Software requests, Security Baseline Administration, Contract Administration Patch Management, Access & Records Management, and Audit & Risk Management

  • Assists Desktop Governance & Compliance Analysts with the creation and documentation of business/system processes, data analytics, and reporting

  • Assists the Desktop Governance & Compliance Analysts with project coordination, task management, issue tracking, meeting minutes, and facilitation

  • Assists Desktop Governance & Compliance Team with other projects as required

  • Applies knowledge gained from a degree program in day-to-day duties/responsibilities

  • Expanded work engagements as required skill sets are developed/matured

  • Works within established standards, change control, policies, and procedures

  • Provides exceptional customer service

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university.

  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Effective skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment to make sound decisions

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service

  • Effective organizational, planning and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Communication with impact and be committed to self-development
